The most accurate method is to convert both dates into a common unit, like a Julian Day Number or a timestamp, and find the difference. Our calculator handles the complexities of varying month lengths and leap years.
Calculating Business Days (Workdays)
This excludes Saturdays and Sundays. The calculation involves:
Finding the total number of days.
Subtracting the number of weekend days that fall within the period.

Calculating Months and Years
This is trickier than days. A “month” is not a fixed unit. Our calculator provides a logical count:
It checks how many full years have passed.
Then, it counts the remaining full months.
Finally, it accounts for the leftover days.
Example: From January 15, 2023, to March 10, 2024.
Full Years: 1 (2023 to 2024)
Remaining Months: 1 (January to February)
Leftover Days: 25 (from Feb 15 to Mar 10)
Result: 1 year, 1 month, and 25 days.
